Pool Personnel instructor Jaime DeLuca will be offering a complete certification course to all who are interested and registered in advance. The following details are provided:
All participants must be present for every session.
All participants must be at least 15 years of age by the start of the course
All participants must be able to swim 300 yards continuously (12 lengths of the pool). There is no time limit.
Successful completion of the course will give you certification in Lifesaving, CPR, and First Aid.
The cost for the complete course is $200. All participants must pay for the class by the start of the first session. Course fees are not refundable if you do not pass the class. Checks should be made payable directly to Jaime DeLuca.
Completion of the course does not guarantee employment with Pool Personnel, Inc., but it certainly gives you a leg up.
Classes may finish earlier than the scheduled times.
Course #1 (Full Course): May 8 and 9, 2010, at Willows of Potomac Club
Saturday, May 8, 2010: 8 am-6pm--instructional session
Sunday, May 9: 8 am-6pm--instructional session and tests
Weekday TBA if necessary: 6 pm-9pm (needed if we can't get to the testing on Sunday)
**bring food, sweats, and dry towels: there will be no official lunch break (meaning not enough time to leave for lunch) and lots of in and out of the pool**
Course #2 (Full Course): May 22 and 23, 2010, at Country Glen
Saturday, May 22, 2010: 8 am-6pm--instructional session
Sunday, May 23: 8 am-6pm--instructional session and tests
Weekday TBA if necessary: 6 pm-9pm (needed if we can't get to the testing on Sunday)

Course #3 (Lifeguarding Recertification Course): Class meets on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Country Glen from 2-6 pm
Cost for the recertification course is $125. You must have proof of prior lifeguarding certification in order to take this course. If you are a current Pool Personnel employee and can not make this date, please contact us to see if other arrangements can be made. This class includes CPR and First Aid. CPR/FIRST AID--returning employees will be offered recertification at no charge to them. All employees need to have current certifications. If you can not make one of these sessions, you will need to get certifications on your own. For those who are not returning employees of Pool Personnel, the cost for the course is $45. Dates, times and locations are subject to change. All participants must register in advance.
